Overview

We are a confessional Christian school dedicated to providing quality academic education. Christ is the foundation of everything we teach, guiding our approach to both academics and character development. Rooted in the Word of God, we aim to nurture students in their faith while promoting academic excellence and preparing them for a purposeful life.

The Principle Approach®

The Principle Approach® is the educational philosophy and methodology that guides our school. It is built upon three key pillars: Philosophy, Curriculum, and Methodology.

  1. PHILOSOPHY (Why): Centered on biblical truth and Christian character, with Jesus Christ as the foundation and ultimate model for life and learning.
  2. CURRICULUM (What): Provides a consistent framework for learning by integrating all subjects through the perspective of God’s sovereignty and His purpose in Creation. Knowledge is taught as a living experience, communicated from teacher to student through the teacher’s example and mastery of the subject matter.
  3. METHODOLOGY (How): Develops creative and independent thinking, encourages research and discovery, and grounds learning in the application of biblical principles.

Through The Principle Approach®, we seek to cultivate ethical and moral reasoning in our students based on biblical principles, including sovereignty, character, individuality, covenant, leadership, honor, stewardship, self-government, and sowing and reaping.

Vision

Our vision is to prepare a generation of students with the character of Christ and the academic excellence necessary to influence their communities, nation, and world for God’s glory. We strive to nurture growth intellectually, socially, emotionally, and spiritually while continually pursuing excellence and innovation in education.

Parent and School Partnership

A fundamental component of VCA’s philosophy is the partnership between school and family. In practice, this partnership encourages families to walk in unity with the school’s philosophy, creating consistency in values, expectations, and routines. Through ongoing communication and collaboration, both school and family work together to support the holistic development of each child and fulfill the God-given responsibility of nurturing and educating the next generation.

VCA is committed to providing an education that develops the whole child—physically, emotionally, intellectually, and spiritually—while continually pursuing excellence and improvement in educational practices.

As a first-time mom returning to work I had so many worries about placing my son in daycare, it did not take long for me to perceive that my son was in excellent care. This establishment proved to me that they are dedicated to the service of God through the love & care they give my son every day. 9 months in I can confidently say that my son loves VCA & as a parent I'm grateful for the detailed information and collaboration VCA has towards my son's development and milestones!

We are deeply grateful to have been part of the Vine Christian Academy family from the beginning. Watching the school grow and flourish has been a blessing, and we feel privileged to have played a role in its journey. The support and guidance our children have received from the dedicated teachers and staff have been invaluable, especially during one of the hardest seasons in our lives, with our daughter’s diagnosis. What we appreciate most is that VCA focuses on so much more than academics. Our children are learning, growing in their faith, and developing strong values in a safe, nurturing environment. The teachers genuinely care about each child and invest in their growth both inside and outside the classroom.
