At Vine Christian Academy, we are committed to nurturing every child’s potential by providing a
Christ-centered, academically rigorous education. Our academic programs are designed to meet
the developmental needs of children at every stage, from infancy through elementary school.

PRESCHOOL

Preschool Program (3-4 years old)

Our preschool program is designed for children who are beginning their journey of learning, exploration, and discovery. Through a nurturing environment, we encourage each child’s curiosity, creativity, independence, and development, building a strong foundation for academic growth and character formation. This program focuses on:

- - Language and Communication Skills: Building vocabulary and encouraging verbal expression through stories, songs, and interactive activities.
  - Cognitive Development: Introducing early concepts of numbers, shapes, colors, and patterns through hands-on, playful learning.
  - Social and Emotional Growth: Encouraging teamwork, sharing, and developing friendships while fostering a sense of independence.
  - Fine and Gross Motor Skills: Developing coordination and physical abilities through art, crafts, and active play.
  - Faith-Based Foundations: Integrating biblical values and character-building principles into daily activities.

VPK Program (Pre-Kindergarten)

Our Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten (VPK) program is designed for children who turn 4 years old by September 1st. This program prepares students for kindergarten by fostering essential skills, including:

- - Early Literacy and Language Development: Strengthening pre-reading and communication skills.
  - Basic Math and Problem-Solving Skills: Laying the groundwork for critical thinking and mathematical understanding.
  - Social and Emotional Development: Encouraging self-confidence, empathy, and positive relationships.
  - Hands-On Learning Experiences: Engaging children in activities that integrate biblical principles and promote curiosity.

The state of Florida offers FREE prekindergarten for all 4-year-olds regardless of family income. Our VPK program is 3 hours per day, Monday through Friday, providing quality education during these hours at no cost. If you are considering enrolling your child in our VPK program, you will need to obtain the VPK Certificate of Eligibility (voucher), and can find more information about it on the ELC website.

Additionally, for parents seeking extended childcare beyond VPK hours, we offer a “wrap-around” program, available from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Our VPK Wrap-Around program offers breakfast, lunch, and an afternoon snack for the children ensuring a well-rounded
experience for your child.
