What We Believe
At Vine Christian Academy, our faith is at the heart of everything we do. We are committed to fostering an environment that reflects biblical truths and Christlike character. Below is summary of our core beliefs, with supporting Bible references:
About God:
We believe in one God who is eternal and exists as the Father, the Son (Jesus Christ), and the Holy Spirit—three persons in one divine essence. God is the Creator and Ruler of the universe. (Genesis 1:1, 26-27; Psalm 90:2; Matthew 28:19; 2 Corinthians 13:14)
About Jesus Christ:
Jesus is the Son of God, fully divine and fully human. He lived a sinless life, died on the Cross to atone for humanity’s sins, rose from the dead, ascended into Heaven, and will return to reign as King. (Matthew 1:22-23; Isaiah 9:6; John 1:1-5, 14:10-30; 1 Corinthians 15:3-4; Acts 1:9-11;
Titus 2:13)
About the Holy Spirit:
The Holy Spirit is God’s presence in the world and within every believer. He empowers Christians to live faithfully, understand spiritual truths, and use their God-given gifts. (John 14:16-17, 16:7-13; Galatians 5:25; Acts 1:8; Ephesians 1:13, 5:18)
About the Bible:
The Bible is the inspired, error-free Word of God. It is the ultimate guide for faith and life. (2 Timothy 3:16; Psalm 119:105, 160; Proverbs 30:5; 2 Peter 1:20-21)
About Human Beings:
Humans are created in God’s image and are His most cherished creation. Though we have the potential for good, we are separated from God by sin, which only Jesus can redeem. (Genesis 1:27; Psalm 8:3-6; Isaiah 53:6; Romans 3:23; Isaiah 59:1-2)
About Salvation:
Salvation is a free gift from God, made possible through Jesus Christ. It cannot be earned through good works but must be received through faith in Him. (Romans 6:23; Ephesians 2:8-9; John 14:6; Galatians 3:26; Titus 3:5)
About Eternity:
Every person is created to exist forever—either eternally with God in Heaven through salvation or separated from Him in Hell. (John 3:16, 14:17; Romans 6:23; Revelation 20:15; 1 Corinthians 2:7-9)
About Baptism:
Baptism is an outward symbol of our new life in Christ and an act of obedience to God’s command, following the example set by Jesus Himself. (Matthew 3:16-17, 28:18-20; Acts 2:41, 8:12)
